Android SDK Quick Start Guide

Learn how to quickly integrate and start using the Spyne Android SDK.

Overview

This section shows how to integrate Spyne SDK in your Android app. Before getting started, complete the Android SDK Quick Start Guide. The quick start guide shows how to install the Spyne SDK, click your first shoot, and refer the subject on dashboard.

Install SDK

To use the Spyne Android SDK, you have install it automatically using Gradle in Android Studio.

Install using Android Studio and Gradle

  1. You can add the jitpack repository to your application's build.gradle file
  2. Please add it in your root build.gradle at the end of repositories.

Adding SDK dependency version

  1. Add the dependency to your module-level build.gradle file
dependencies {
  implementation 'com.github.gouravspyne:MFCsdk:2.0' 
  }

Caution:

{2.0} is a version number. Use the updated version number for integration. Refer the version table below.


Authenticating the SDK

  1. Add the token to your module-level gradle.properties file
authToken = jp_fs5s5gl8ur3qohon41oe45k7vi


Initializing the SDK

  1. Initialize the client in your Application subclass
  2. Please follow these steps to generate the API key and Category key
