File Transfer Protocol (FTP)
What is an FTP Integration?
FTP (File Transfer Protocol) Integration allows seamless data exchange between Spyne and multiple inventory management systems. This integration ensures the efficient transfer of vehicle details and specifications, enabling automated processing and publishing workflows.
How FTP Integration Works

- Data Source Setup
Spyne collaborates with inventory management systems such as vAuto, Homenet, Inventory Plus, EDealer, and others. These systems provide an export feed containing vehicle details. - Dealer Customization
Dealers can specify their unique requirements, such as:- Backgrounds
- Banners
- Number plate URLs
This ensures each dealer's branding and design preferences are maintained.
- Workflow Creation
Customized workflows are created for all dealership rooftops. These workflows define the data handling and processing logic for each dealer. - Feed Reception
Once the workflows are configured, Spyne receives export feeds directly from the inventory management systems via FTP. - AI-Powered Processing
Spyne’s proprietary AI engine processes the received files to generate high-quality vehicle merchandising assets. - Processed Data Delivery
After processing, the enriched vehicle data is sent back to the respective inventory management systems through FTP. - Publication on Dealer Websites
The updated vehicle information is published on dealer websites, ensuring a seamless and efficient update process.
Benefits of FTP Integration with Spyne
- Automation: Minimizes manual intervention by automating data transfer and processing.
- Customization: Supports dealer-specific branding and merchandising preferences.
- Efficiency: Speeds up the workflow from feed reception to website publication.
